You need to set up a VPN. Onlt the TDE100 end requires a fixed Internet IP
address. The telephones can be dynamic IP.

Subject: KX-T: KXTDE 100
Hi All
Can anybody help me with the setting up of IP extension model KXNT321 on a
KXDTE 100. The IP extension is off site extension using a static IP address
connected directly back to a firewall which have all the relevant ports open
for the KXTDE 100.
The problem I am having is as follows, when I connected the phone to the
external switch/hub it finds the PBX for about 5 minutes the time and date
appear on the phone, I hear the internal dial tone but cannot hear the
external dial tone and have only one way conversation. Then after about 5
minutes the phone losses connection with the PBX. Its takes about 1 hour for
the IP extension to reboot again because I think the LAN ports on the PBX
lock up.
Any ideas
Regards
Michael
